Just run to edge of the area marked on the ground and you should be fine. If you get close to him (melee range) he will try to push you away but you can just run back to him and try again.Īfter fighting him a few times you will begin to learn how to avoid the brunt of the falling frozen corpse attack. He does like teleport a lot so you should try to freeze or stun him so that you can land some good attacks. None of his attacks do a lot of damage, so if you are having trouble surviving them you should probably decrease your Monster Power level. The corpses do damage when they hit you and your movement speed will be slowed if you are inside the area of affect that is shown on the ground. Instead of a fiery burst that will push you away when you are too close, Xah'Rith will hit you with a frozen cloud.Įver since Xah-Rith was nerfed he has become much easier to kill. Instead of calling down fiery meteors from the sky, Xah'Rith summons a rain of frozen corpses. Xah-Rith's attacks are different from his morlu incinerator cousins in the following ways. The only affix that Xah'Rith currently has is the Teleporter affix. The movement speed reduction applied by his Cold attacks has been reduced.Damage dealt by a number of his abilities has been reduced. He can no longer spawn with the Illusionist or Fast affix.Blizzard removed those affixes in a hot fix released on October 24th, 2012 (soon after patch 1.0.5) due to complaints from the community about Xah-Rith's difficulty. Originally, Xah-Rith had the Illusionist and Fast affixes.
